PROMPT 12 -
In Chapter 15 on page 209, there is a chart that differentiates between clear sin and questionable sin. In this chart there are examples. Questionable sin can sometimes not be sin at all. Discuss together with you group how you can be sure that you are correctly differentiating. On page 207 -208, the author discusses how a husband must be ready. Using what you have learned in this chapter, how can a husband ensure that he is ready.
PROMPT 11 -
Stewardship is not just about finances as you will see explained in chapter 12. That said, our finances is certainly something that we (as husbands) are stewards of. Discuss with each other what the relationship between tithing and stewardship is.
PROMPT 10 -
You are a Christian man who is striving to honor God in your life. A guy you work with, go to school with, or live near approaches you because he knows you are a Christian. He has a very worldly view of sex. He has been married for 2 years and confides in you that the sexual intimacy between him and his wife is awkward and near non existent. It has become a problem area in his marriage. He also confides in you that he is tempted by pornography. He ask you what the Bible says about sex in effort to have the correct view. Utilizing chapter 11, pages 145-155, and the six Biblical principles stated what help would you offer this guy?
PROMPT 9 -
A friend who is struggling to be a leader in his marriage and home reaches out to you for some advice. He explains how leadership is confusing to him. From chapter 9 starting on page 120 use this information to explain leadership as being like a shepherd.
PROMPT 8 -
A friend approaches you because they know you are a Christian and study the Bible. They ask you what Biblical love is. Utilizing what you read from chapter 8 pages 102-107 how would answer their question?
PROMPT 7 -
Part 1 - A friend, family member, or some other fellow believer in Christ approaches and tells you their preacher preached a message about idolatry. Through the conviction of the Holy Spirit they admit to you they believe they do not truly worship Christ above all. They go on to say they could use some advice. From chapter 7 pages 91-93 what advice would you give to them.
Part 2 - In chapter 7 on page 93 the author list four ways that God reveals idols to us. Has God ever revealed any and idol of yours in any of these ways?

In chapter 6 on pages 80-81 the author talks about the Husband's role involving leadership and loving. This week discuss with your group some examples of what loving leadership can look like.
PROMPT 5 -
Part 1 - In chapter 5 the author talks about, God's Purpose for Marriage. On page 64 he describes the purpose of characterization. When reading Ephesians 5:27, how does this look for a husband to love his wife in this way?
Part 2 - The portrayal of our marriage is one of our greatest evangelistic / witnessing tools. How / Why is this?
PROMPT 4 -
Part 1 - In chapter 4 on page 54, under the "Putting it All Together" section the author gives us a definition of a Biblical relationship: A joint participation between two distinct Christian persons in which there is involvement, Christ-like love (sacrificial, enduring, and keeping with God's word), good communication, appreciation, edification, and service - all in the attitude of respect and humility - and all for God's glory and the benefit of the other. Having this Biblical definition, has your perspective of relationships changed? If so, how?
Part 2 - On page 51 & 52 there is s bulleted list of God's Blueprint for Relationships. Pick one of these and study the accompanying scripture and discuss the importance, difficulties, and benefits of the one you chose.
PROMPT 3 - In chapter 3 on page 32, the author talks about a false view of man being that man is a non-responsible victim of tragic and senseless circumstances. Near the bottom of the page, he goes on to describe that scripture teaches us that while some circumstances in our life are tragic, God is in absolute control. He gives 4 bullet points of how God can use these circumstances. Please read the accompanying scripture, strive to understand the context, and discuss the application for us. You might even have some real life examples to share and discuss.
PROMPT 2 - In chapter 2 on page 25 -26 there is a section entitled "What Christian Husbands Need to Believe About God and Their Lives". The author gives 5 points here. Which one of these 5 stands out to you the most and why.
