Check your email each week for the current prompt for discussion. You are more than welcome to schedule some type of gathering (lunch, breakfast, coffee, etc. for any group discussion.
Week 1 - In your email groups please discuss the following: 1. What expectations do you have for this study? 2. Are there any specific ways that your group members can pray for you this week?
Week 2 - In chapter 2 on page 25 -26 there is a section entitled "What Christian Husbands Need to Believe About God and Their Lives". The author gives 5 points here. Which one of these 5 stands out to you the most and why.
Week 3 - In chapter 3 on page 32, the author talks about a false view of man being that man is a non-responsible victim of tragic and senseless circumstances. Near the bottom of the page, he goes on to describe that scripture teaches us that while some circumstances in our life are tragic, God is in absolute control. He gives 4 bullet points of how God can use these circumstances. Please read the accompanying scripture, strive to understand the context, and discuss the application for us. You might even have some real life examples to share and discuss.
Week 4 -
Part 1 - In chapter 4 on page 54, under the "Putting it All Together" section the author gives us a definition of a Biblical relationship: A joint participation between two distinct Christian persons in which there is involvement, Christ-like love (sacrificial, enduring, and keeping with God's word), good communication, appreciation, edification, and service - all in the attitude of respect and humility - and all for God's glory and the benefit of the other. Having this Biblical definition, has your perspective of relationships changed? If so, how?
Part 2 - On page 51 & 52 there is s bulleted list of God's Blueprint for Relationships. Pick one of these and study the accompanying scripture and discuss the importance, difficulties, and benefits of the one you chose.
